In the summer of 1900 Henry Ward Ranger, an artist from New York, established the Lyme Art Colony in what is now the the Florence Griswold Museum and art education centre in Old Lyme, Connecticut.

 

Here they hold an annual display of painted artists palettes. We decided to bring our own version of the challenge to the UK. Our artists have let their inspiration run riot and we hope you enjoy the outcome.

All palettes will be displayed at our Annual Exhibition and all are for auction, so please come along and make a bid; All proceeds will be donated to local charities.
