Annual Exhibition 2025
Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our 2025 Exhibition.

This year, Banstead Art Group celebrates 78 years of showcasing our member’s artworks at our annual exhibition. It was great to see that we had over 400 Visitors and we would like to thank everyone who came along and helped us out during the show.​
We invite our members to enter up to 8 framed paintings each. This is a great opportunity for our artists to showcase different aspects of their practice. This year, we had over 140 paintings, drawings and media works on display. We also had browsers of unframed work and a number of cards which, as always, were very popular! By the end of the three days, we had sold a total of 32 paintings.
As we have in previous years, we asked members of the public to vote for their favourite painting and this year’s winner was

Well done everyone.
We were very sad to hear that Peter Harvey passed away in July this year. Peter was a longstanding member and committee member of Banstead Art Group. He produced a range of paintings in watercolour, acrylics and oils, He had a keen technical eye and a wonderful attention to detail. When he was younger, Peter worked on aeroplanes and these were a common feature in many of his paintings. The sales of Peters paintings during the exhibition raised £145 and will be donated to the Blue Cross.
​For this year’s Summer Challenge Charity Drive we decided to paint Mini Magnetic Masterpieces.
​
Our artists have let their inspiration run riot and we hope you enjoy the outcome.
All canvasses were available for a minimum donation of £20 and raised a total of £450, all proceeds will be donated to local charities.
