Annual Exhibition 2026
Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our 2026 Exhibition.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our 2026 Exhibition.
This year, Banstead Art Group celebrates 79 years of showcasing our member’s artworks at our annual exhibition. It was great to see that we had over 400 Visitors and we would like to thank everyone who came along and helped us out during the show.
We invite our members to enter up to 8 framed paintings each. This is a great opportunity for our artists to showcase different aspects of their practice. This year, we had over 170 paintings, drawings and media works on display. We also had browsers of unframed work and a number of cards which, as always, were very popular!
By the end of the three days, we had sold a total of 32 paintings.
As we have in previous years, we asked members of the public to vote for their favourite painting and this year’s winner was
Debbie Rule with 'Silent Approach'
Second place was Sophie Knight-Crow with ‘Pea Hen’
Third place was Louise Collins with ‘I’m Nuts about you’
Look out for these paintings on our adverts for next year’s exhibition!
For this year’s Summer Challenge Charity Drive we painted Christmas Baubles.
All Bauble were available for a minimum donation of £5 and we raised £100, all proceeds will be donated to local charities. The charity will be chosen by our members at our next meeting.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us during our exhibition. We had a fantastic time and look forward to inviting you all back again next year!
